For those of you who are sick of the kitchen talk, my deepest apologies. I wanted to do a follow up blurb about the backsplash in our kitchen, as many of you asked for the details. But it feels too long ago to just to a blurb so now I have to make it a whole post.

The tile is called Bevel Hampton Sand and comes in various sizes. My parents have the 3×6 individual tile and looks more like the standard size subway, as you can see in the above photo. We have the 2×4 tiles that come mounted on mesh. Both tiles have a crackle finish, but I think you can get it without that.

A big thanks to my Dad for keeping a record of the tile details. I’m such a kid. I’ve been calling it “bisque mini-subway crackle”. That is so not the name of it. LOVE it! Thanks so much for posting the name. We have been looking into doing the same kitchen update. I’ve been searching and searching for this tile! Its cheaper than the one that I had kinda picked out. YAY!
The thing that gets me about this is the *clean.* I’m already nesting, and I can’t get my old rental house clean!!! I’m so jealous…

I want a tile backsplash…I really do…but it makes me nervous thinking of doing it myself. Really.Nervous.Even more nervous than the Sunday retreat.

I’ve been in love with your subway tile since the moment you posted it, but I never thought I could get away with it since I have bisque cabinets. Please show more!! Yes you can get the tiles with a crackle finish or just without it. For other colors and shapes please visit our web site, http://www.adexusa.com. We are updating it right now so you will see our old site yet but the new one should be up and running by the end of february.
