This photo is one of my favorites from a shoot I did this week. Their sweet mommy gave me permission to post them on the blog and I’m so glad she did. That baby is only five weeks old so it was kind of a challenge for me to get some good shots of all three of them together. But it was a challenge I was happy to take on. These three were a delight.
Because I’ve been editing photos all week, that is what is on the brain. So I’m sending a few photography links your way:
How to Shoot in Direct Sunlight @ Digital Photography School.
You Capture. Nature. @ I Should Be Folding Laundry.
And not technically a photography post, but definitely involving pictures: Baby Lumps @ Velveteen Mind. A great read. Speaking of babies, let’s peek at one more photo, shall we? What a doll.

those are gorgeous, girl. i guess i should say, the kids are gorgeous…which they are…not just the pics, but…ummm…what? ohhh, remind me not to comment this late at night.
i’m glad to have gotten a peek at the photo shoot!
i love taking photos of newborns. they are the most fun when you can rearrange them into any position and they just sleep right through it. love them.
Ok, um, WOW!
How can a 5 month old already look just like it’s brothers? What adorable children and what a great photographer you are to capture them!
5 WEEK I mean. Hate me.
Absolutely precious!
I always get so excited when I see that you’ve posted your photos. I was just looking through the ones you did for our wedding…I love seeing the world through your camera lens!
{SIGH} I just love babies.
Those pictures almost make me want to have another one. Almost.
I hear you’re taking some pics of my squishy nephew sometime soon. I’d like to discuss some kid pics/family pics for us closer to the fall when the babe is due. You have such a great eye.
What a beautiful baby…love the look on her brother’s faces.
Oh, how beautiful. And how gifted you are to be able to “see.”
Those shots are precious! You should take a bow!
sweet baby!

I love seeing the growth of other photographers just starting out, just like me! My own first baby shoot was a thrill and I know how proud you must feel to have captured these so beautifully! Thanks for the tips/links!
Can’t…take…the…sweetness! : )
Beautiful photos, Emily!
