It’s a beautiful morning in Charlotte! Actually, it’s overcast and sprinkling, but it’s beautiful to be at She Speaks. I wish you all could be here and we could stay up too late and chat it up about writing and blogging and photography. But since most of you won’t be here, I don’t want to be all talky-talky about a conference you can’t attend. So tell me: when it’s all said and done, what would you like to know about She Speaks? Anything? Let me know and I’ll be sure to fill you in.

As a relatively new blogger I go back and forth in trying to determine if blogging is a childlike friend-fest….or a creative outlet to let the authentic me come out and dabble in the magic that is the written word and peek at himan emotions through photography, or both. I know that a blog can be a wonderful blessing to others in addition to being a way to let God’s gifts out into the light. What stuff did you learn as to how to find a focus for your blog…and how to go forward in the world of blogging and be authentic …when it is full of promotions…advertisements…and agendas. Do you have any advise? Thanks for taking the time to share with those of us that cannot attend!
Maybe you could start by giving us a brief description of what SheSpeaks is. I’ve never heard of the ministry. Is it chiefly a Charlotte area organization, or does it have a much wider scope?
I LOVE a Christian conference, but I’ve never been to one designed just for women. Was it wonderful to be there with all women?
I’d enjoy just hearing your general thoughts about the conference and then specifically about your talk.
