It was a rare moment of him being cute combined with me saying yes. He isn’t always allowed to stretch out on top of the dining room table and sing. But he also won’t always be three. And so instead of moving him along, I sat down and watched. And of course, snapped a picture.

You know, when I was swinging with other kids when I was little and we’d get in sync with each other, we used to tell each other to “get out of my bathtub” and swing on your own rhythm. I think summer may be the ‘season of watching’, don’t you think? We all slow down just enough to take in the little moments that are gone before we know it! My youngest is now 12 and I don’t know when that happened. Take lots of pictures and write it all down.

I can’t quite smiling because I just know it must have been so much fun, almost wish you’d have video taped it for us!!
I still recalled these times with my Mom, they are definately filed under “good times” in my memory bank.

It’s not tues, but I love that I found this today! I’ve been taking part in a 40 day challege called iChoose2 Love my Life. Each day there is an iChoose2 statement with a challenge. Today my iChoose2 statement was iChoose2 be in this moment. So many times I let the business of life take over and forget that each moment is a gift from God, thus the reason it is called “the present” so I decided to make a cup of coffee and spend some uninterrupted time talking with my sister in another state.
