love in the morning | two

Every April, the tree in our front yard spits out fluffy bubble gum flowers from brown, winter sticks. I look out my kitchen window, my bedroom window, my front door, and there it is – a gift. This tree stirs up the mystery, reminds me of newness and life, and bathes my yard with tiny reminders of love.

Declare His love in the morning.

Emily, the picture of the petals on the bench…gorgeous! I would normally see that as a nuisance; one more thing to clean off before my boys stain their clothes (more).

Thanks for reminding me to look for the beauty.

I love this series. It’s a verse I’ve heard many times but you provide fresh perspective that enables me to take this truth to heart in a new way. There is no better way to begin the day, renewed by the love and presence of the Father. And I can’t think of a better way to end the day, drifting off to sleep wrapped up in the comfort of his faithfulness.

    Hi Emily,
I just wanted to tell you that I love this morning/evening series. So simple, but beautiful and so deep! You amaze me, what you can convey in so few words.

Right now I am looking out the window at the tulip garden we planted in memory of my mother-in-law. The vibrant colors are a burst of beauty against the white fence. Thanks for inspiring me to turn my eyes outside and glimpse Him at work!
