for your weekend

May your weekend be filled with light bright enough to warm the pavement on your driveway but not so bright that it burns your feet. As your Father in Heaven shows you love, grants discernment, speaks peace, and offers grace, may you receive the gifts with confidence. If the people in your world welcome you, be thankful. If they ignore you, be kind. If they ask you to sit among them and tell them more, remember to see them and to ask questions. Your smallness is a good thing. Enjoy your weekend, friends.

  2. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for these weekend posts. I love reading all your posts, learning more about being transparent and godly in such a shaded and broken world, and watching behind-the-scenes as an author writes in ways I’ve not really ever seen before. But I admit these weekend posts are my absolute favs. :)

    Great looking blog makeover!

  3. Your site looks beautiful. Are the newsletter archives anywhere?

    • newsletter archives…that’s a good question, Anna. I don’t have them anywhere, but that’s a great idea. I’ll work on that ;)

  4. Lovely. Your place and your words. Happy weekend, Emily. So wonderful to have a place that reminds me smallness is a good thing, not a thing to be despised.

    Blessings,

  9. Thanks I did have a great weekend. Attended my first Homeschoolers graduation ceremony, it was so beautiful and just showed how close a family can become. However, the pavement here is definitely hot enough to burn your feet. Praying for rain soon, crops are dry.
