This made me cry. So, so, so, so good. Yesterday, Lynn Cowell posted over at Renee Swope’s, and she asked what we would tell our 14 year old self. After reading Grace for the Good Girl and after watching this video, I know I would tell her to read your book. My heart rejoices to think of the freedom and hope your book is going to stir in the lives of young women. May they know and taste the sweetness of His love and freedom in Him…something I did not know at that age.

Emily, I just shared this on Facebook! I did your first version this summer as a book group with 2 of my daughters, 2 friends, and their daughters. It was a great tool for us to have meaningful discussions with our young women. We’ll all be recommending this teen version! (PS, I often read entire chapters to my husband, who really liked what you wrote as well….he wants to encourage you to team up with your husband to make a “Grace for the Good Guy” version!)

After a going through a really tough day yesterday with my 13 year old daughter, this is exactly what I needed God to put before me this morning. I can hardly wait to go grab the book…the video was moving. We all needed this book when we were teenagers. I am sure of it. I’ve posted the video on facebook and my daughter pinned it on pinterest (she has more followers than me:) Thank you for offering yourself to us and for surrending to His call for you to write. What an incredible gift you have and God is going to use it in a mighty way to impact girls (and eventually women) forever. I’m going to go buy it today for my daughter and your Grace for the Good Girl book for me!!!!

Oh, Emily. This made me cry. My two copies came in the mail today for my cousin and sister in law. I read the first chapter and could feel my throat choke up. You have hit such a chord. As I read that book I thought, I struggle with this. It doesn’t change. Young or old we all are trying so hard after something we secretly wish we could just let go of. So much my heart aches for these sweet girls in my life. That they could find freedom. Thank you for writing my heart for these girls and reaching them in a way that I cannot.
And it is absolutely beautiful that those girls that you have invested in were able to be a part of this. What an amazing experience it must be for them to be with you along this adventure. How blessed they must be to receive your love on a weekly basis.
