As I am writing down my 1,000 gifts for this year (we will not discuss how I have not even reached 400 and it is October), I wrote just this week for how I am thankful that loneliness forces me to press in closer to Him. These days this month have been hurried and full and, sometimes, tear-inducing. But they have driven me right where I need to be – into His arms.
